Our Annual General Meetings

Since we started, Friends of Ancells Farm have held our Annual General Meeting each year.  This is your chance to come and have your say about our green spaces in Ancells Farm, whilst having a cup of tea and a chat with your neighbours.

Whether we hold the meeting in the park, community centre, or on Zoom, we always try to have a fun event to balance out the formal items, such a a quiz or presentation.

In 2016 it was Bob Schofield, Chairman of Fleet Town Council.  Bob talked about the draft Fleet Neighborhood Plan, which is intended to include information about future aspirations for Ancells Business Park.  This document went out to formal consultation later in the year.  Phil Gower from Fleet and Church Crookham Society provided an update on the Hart Housing Consultation.

In 2015 the Committee presented the Development Plan which had recently been agreed with Fleet Town Council and is designed to ensure measured and well planned development of our beautiful park.

In 2014 we were very lucky to have a presentation on the history of Ancells Farm from Phyl Ralton from Fleet & Crookham Local History Group , who told us all about the people who have lived here before us in her talk entitled ‘Ancells Farm, Pigs Polo and People’.  We had an update on the varied community work that Friends of Ancells Farm has undertaken in the last year, as well as a discussion about Fleet Town Council’s 3G football pitch proposal.
