Play Equipment

When Friends of Ancells Farm started we had an old and decrepit play area, with the under 5’s area being completely separate behind Ellen Drive.  This made it impossible for parents and children of different ages to play together.

Along with Fleet Town Council a Government grant was obtained and new equipment installed.

Out with the old
in with the new

In 2014 we raised funds for the medium sized slide and trim trail – which we installed ourself over a weekend with support from Playtime by Fawns.

Tired – but proud of all our hard work
The Team from Amey

In 2015 we had raised enough money to buy our flat seated swings and basket ball hoop.  The tarmac to go under the basket ball hoop was provided by a dedicated team of volunteers from Amey.

In 2020 we were donated a concrete table tennis table from Court Moor School and this will be installed in 2021.

Our thanks also go to Fleet Lions, Fleet Town Council, Hart District Council, Playtime by Fawns, Amey, Courtmoor School and to all of you who have attended our fund raising events and joined in the hard manual labour over the years! Without your support, we would not have this equipment.

Please continue to come to our events as these are all geared round creating a strong community feel in Ancells Farm as well as raising money for our projects. If you are able to contribute in any way to help raising this money, please let us know.
