What a year 2020 was!

2020 was a year of ups and downs, wasn’t it? At Friends of Ancells Farm we’ve still managed to achieve a lot, in spite of all the restrictions.

We were sad that our annual Easter Egg Trail couldn’t take place, but instead we ran a Scavenger Hunt where lucky winners won a mound of chocolate.

We published our summer newsletter and we planted lots of plants and bulbs in the park. Look out for our new planted area and next spring there will be bluebells in the woods!

We were donated an outdoor table tennis table, which will be installed soon and we were awarded £1,166 from Tescos Bags for Life towards our projects.

Wow! That’s alot for a year of lockdowns and restrictions. We’re looking forwards to 2021, where hopefully life will be getting easier for us all. Keep safe and come and join us in 2021.
