Friends of Ancells Farm Give it a Whirl in Dancing Style!

“What an absolute hoot!  People from the local community, who had never met, were thrown together to learn to barn dance and the outcome was absolutely hilarious!”  “It was a fun filled twirlin’ swirlin’ barn dancing extravaganza of success.”  “Fabulously fun evening with Friends of Ancells Farm.”

These are some of the comments we received from local residents who came to the first ever Friends of Ancells Farm Barn Dance at the Ancells Farm Community Centre in October.   80 people danced the night away at to the Kingfisher Ceilidh Band, who did a brilliant job of playing a large selection of different songs and with their caller helped us to learn the dances.  We had a fish and chip supper from Ancells Fish & Chips shop and we also had a licenced bar.
